About the Role

As a Business Operations Manager you will drive financial discipline, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll play a key role in scaling our successful mobile titles and shaping the future of our games business. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and executive leadership to optimize resource allocation, ensure clear and measurable goals, and conduct insightful business reviews.

Success in this role means operating at 3X efficiency by leveraging advanced AI tools to automate, accelerate, and elevate your impact. You’ll use AI to generate SQL queries for self-serve analytics, synthesize insights from complex datasets, automate reporting, and streamline workflows across departments. Your ability to harness AI will free you to focus on high-leverage strategic initiatives and run insightful business reviews that drive meaningful action.

We’re looking for a proactive operator with a strong analytical foundation, a bias toward execution with a passion for using AI to leverage game business operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Metrics Governance

  • Define, collect, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments (e.g., revenue per employee, cost per acquisition, burn rate).
  • Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for real-time insights.
  • Foster a culture of data accuracy, timeliness, and actionable interpretation.

OKR Formulation & Alignment

  • Lead the development of corporate and departmental Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops for goal alignment.
  • Track OKR progress, identify blockers, and recommend course-corrections.

Meeting & Review Enablement

  • Prepare high-impact presentations for leadership meetings.
  • Coordinate materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Synthesize data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior executives.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Audit workflows and recommend enhancements.
  • Partner with our analytics team to implement automation (e.g., reporting scripts, self-service BI tools).
  • Document and socialize best practices.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Advise leaders in Product, Marketing, Sales, and HR on resource planning and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate on budget planning, headcount forecasts, and project prioritization.
  • Facilitate "Ops Sync" forums for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in business operations, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or strategy roles in tech or gaming.
  • Advanced Excel, SQL proficiency; experience with BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to C-level executives.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build scalable processes and implement automation.
  • Games experience a must
