- Bug Tracking & Reporting
- Clearly document and prioritize defects in our bug-tracking system. Communicate findings and potential solutions to developers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Release Management
- Participate in release planning, smoke tests, and regression testing to ensure stable launches and quick turnaround on hotfixes.
- Continuous Improvement
- Analyze QA processes and recommend improvements. Contribute to the creation of best practices, testing standards, and knowledge-sharing sessions within the studio.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Unity engineers, designers, and product managers to align testing strategies with game updates and new features. Provide actionable feedback on design feasibility and testability.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in game QA or software QA, ideally with at least one live-operated mobile or console title.
- Proven experience in test automation (e.g., writing scripts or using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Unity test frameworks).
- Familiarity with Unity-based workflows and the ability to identify issues at the project, scene, or prefab level.
- Strong understanding of bug life cycle, including root cause analysis, documentation, and prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills—able to distill technical defects into clear, actionable items for cross-functional teams.
